Trump Blasts David Duke and KKK

DETROIT—Donald Trump blasted David Duke and the KKK recently in response to a question about the former KKK member’s support of the Trump campaign.

In full Trump fashion, the billionaire real estate mogul launched into a tirade, saying that Duke “has no clue” and is “desperate and sad” and “weak”. The Donald was only getting warmed up as he continued to lambaste the white supremacist leader and the KKK. “Not a leader! A pathetic figure!” He said the KKK had been a “total disaster” and that Duke was a “low energy guy” who was “at the bottom of the barrel”, a real “sad sack” who was “a total embarrassment to himself and his family”. He wrapped up the blistering rant by castigating the KKK for being “terrible hypocrites” and “racists” who spread a “stupid message” from a “puppet” (Duke) – “a basket case” and “a loser”.

CORRECTION—We inadvertently identified David Duke and the KKK as the target of Mr. Trump’s scorn in the above article. The statements in question were actually directed towards former Florida governor, Jeb Bush and the Macy’s department store. Trump was questioned, however, about Mr. Duke and the KKK and responded with a scathing “I disavow”.
